Wicks Manor is a comfortable 17^th. Century moated farmhouse set in large gardens on a working farm 6 miles South of the A12.

Nestled in a quiet spot of rural East Anglia and being situated 2 miles North of the River Blackwater Estuary  it is an ideal base for walking and exploring the many miles of unspoilt coastline dotted with delightful old fishing villages. Bird watchers can visit the R.S.P.B. reserve at Tollesbury and Abberton.

Just to the North is the old Roman town of Colchester and the beautiful Constable countryside.

Gardeners will enjoy visiting the delightful Beth Chatto and R.H.S.Hyde Hall gardens, both being just ½ an hours drive from Wicks Manor.

Fishing and golf are available locally.

There is easy access to Stansted and Harwich and London is 1 hour away from the local railway station.
